Places I visited in India.

Tajmahal

This immense mausoleum was built on the orders of Shah Jahan, the fifth Muslim Mogul emperor, to honor the memory of his beloved late wife. Built out of white marble and standing in formally laid-out walled gardens, the Taj Mahal is regarded as the most perfect jewel of Muslim art in India. The emperor was consequently jailed and, it is said, could then only see the Taj Mahal out of his small cell window.

Charminar

Hyderabad's most charming landmark, Charminar, is one of the finest examples of the Qutab Shahi architecture located at the heart of the old city. Built by Quli Qutab Shah, in 1591, this impressive monument gives off a charm that is over 400 years old, and is often acknowledged as the ‘Arc de triomphe of the East’.

Hawamahal

Hawa Mahal or the “Palace of winds” is the best symbol of such historic places. Located in the Heart of the Pink City, it is one of the most visiting places in Jaipur and attracts tourists from all over the world.

Pushkar

Pushkar is one of the oldest cities in India. Located to the northwest of Ajmer, the tranquil city of Pushkar is a favoured destination for thousands of tourists and devotees flocking to Rajasthan
According to legends, Lord Brahma, believed to be the creator of the Universe dropped a lotus to the ground leading to the immediate creation of a lake. He then decided to name the place after the flower, and thus the name, Pushkar. The city of Pushkar is home to the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the whole world. Hindus consider a journey to Pushkar to be the ultimate pilgrimage that must be undertaken to attain salvation.
